Civil Rights

Throughout history people have stood up for what they believed in.  This is especially true during the Civil Rights Movement of the 1950s-1960s. 

Research one of the topics with a partner.  Take detailed notes in your 5W1H graphic organizer in order to get the full picture of your event.  Then, with your partner, use vivid word choice and thoughtful organization to retell the event as if you were a newspaper journalist during that time.
